2004‧Fall_Ready To Wear

A tribute to the legendary Helmut Newton and the elegant, sensual women he captured in the unforgettable images for Yves Saint Laurent in the 1970’s: these iconic images set the mood for the Dolce & Gabbana women’s Fall/Winter 2004/05 collection, without making any specific reference to the Seventies style.

Color Analysis :
Like Newton in the seventies and eighties, designers presented a woman who was ultra-chic, groomed, powerful—and ripe for sexual misadventure in this year’s collection which shows elegant, sensual, extreme femininity and opulence.

This year, low value and chroma hue like gray and brown (maybe gold) became the fundamental colors of the collection. Green, red, carol, pink and indigo were the highlights of the total sophisticated look.
